William Gibbons is a family owned and run business with a proud 130 year history. Renown for their productivity and efficiency and fiercely loyal to the Komori brand, WG are the biggest Komori user in the UK with 7 Komori System 38 SII and SIII 16pp presses.
For their next investment WG selected JanusTech to supply the company’s eighth 4-unit Komori System 38 complete with auto-plate loading, auto folder change-over and VITS sheeter.
Changes required to the original press specification by WG included replacing the MEG DLC paster with a Contiweb CS10 splicer, replacing Presstech auto colour register and cut off systems with Quadtech, removing two printing units and removing the Jetweb U.V coater. The entire project was fully managed by JanusTech including the sourcing and integration of all ancillary equipment.
